This website is hosted by IONOS SE (Germany). When you visit, the web server processes technical connection data (requested URL, date and time, browser type, referrer) in server log files. We use these logs for the stability, security and functioning of the site and for anonymised, aggregated reach measurement without IP addresses and without any reference to individual persons (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are deleted on the schedule set by the hosting provider.
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (address, message content, attached photos) solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). There is no newsletter, no CRM and no automated processing; messages go to Marcel Querl personally.
If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, data is processed by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. and Meta Platforms Inc., which may involve a transfer to the United States under Meta's applicable safeguards. Using WhatsApp is entirely optional; email is always available as an alternative.
At bernsteinmobil.de/analyse we offer a free, automated first assessment of your amber based on uploaded photos. The tool is provided as an embedded application (a Cloudflare Worker). To use it you enter an email address (confirmed by a one-time code to prevent abuse), one or more photos and optional details.
The first assessment is generated automatically by an AI image model and is expressly preliminary — it contains no binding statement, no price and no purchase decision. The binding assessment is always made by Marcel Querl in person; there is no solely automated decision producing legal effects within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
Recipients / processors: OpenAI (USA) performs the AI image analysis and a moderation check — photos and details are transferred to the United States on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) and your explicit consent (Art. 49 (1)(a) GDPR); data sent via the API is not used to train models. Cloudflare hosts the application and stores the resized photos and case data (Art. 28 GDPR). Resend sends the confirmation code and the reply email. Telegram is used to notify Marcel Querl internally. If, and only if, Marcel forwards your case for a purchase check, photos and a neutral description are shared with a purchasing partner — without your name or email address.
Legal basis and retention: your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR), given via a checkbox before upload, together with Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR to handle your enquiry. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Photos, the assessment and your email address are stored to process your enquiry and are automatically deleted after twelve months at the latest; we will delete them sooner on request (email info@bernsteinmobil.de). The service is intended for persons aged 16 and over.
These information pages set no cookies, use no consent banner because none is needed, run no analytics or tracking services, and embed no third-party fonts or scripts; web fonts are served from this domain. The only third-party element on the site is the AI pre-analysis tool described above, which loads only on the /analyse page.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection regarding your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
